Casing joint is a kind of oil field drilling tool, which is mainly used for the connection of oil pipes. It mainly solves the problem that the existing joint is easy to produce fatigue fracture due to stress concentration.


The oil pipe joint structure is: the end of the oil pipe is connected with the inner wall of the joint through the taper thread, and the end of the joint body is connected with the oil pipe through the same thread through the pitch flat thread. It has the characteristics of reducing the stress concentration at the root of the external thread of the single taper thread connecting pipe, not easy to produce fatigue fracture, and the connection effect is good. The joint is divided into pipe joint and casing joint. Commonly used steel grades are J55, K55, N80, L80, P110, etc.
