About Cold forming

Cold forming is a processing method of stamping, bending and drawing materials without heating. Cold forming process includes cold forging, cold rolling, forging, etc.

Main advantages of cold-formed steel structure:


1. Compared with the thicker hot rolled steel, the cold-formed section steel can be processed into suitable small load and short span.


As shown in Figure 2, unusual cross-section shapes can be economically obtained by cold forming to obtain a satisfactory strength to weight ratio.


3. Consider compact packaging and transportation, and make nested parts.


4. No telescoping gravity environment becomes invisible.

The processing method of plastic material is applicable to the cold plastic or inorganic material, which is characterized by high pressure and enough time for cold mold, and then it can continue to dry and harden with or without heating in the oven without melting the product from the mold. The method is fast, cheap, has good electrical insulation, water resistance, high heat resistance, and is used to manufacture electrical insulation products.
