Fillet weld joints

A fillet weld is a weld. Fatigue damage has local characteristics. Based on the basic idea of the stress field strength method, the local stress field strength of the weld toe area of the joint is obtained through the field diameter analysis of the diagonal welded joint, the elastic-plastic finite element calculation of the stress concentration area of the flange fillet weld and the numerical solution of the stress field strength.

Fillet welds are not necessarily fillet welds. If the fillet weld is opened, the full penetration is called the butt weld of the fillet weld; if the fillet weld is not opened, the fillet weld is not called the fillet weld.
