ASTM International is an organization that publishes documents and develops standards for various materials and processes.
According to alloy, stainless steel or carbon steel. It can be used to test the properties, hardness, corrosion resistance, pitting resistance and heat treatment process of steel.
The results are listed in the main ASTM steel grades for steel pipes as follows.
1. ASTM A106 covers carbon steel pipes for high temperature service.
2. ASTM A335 covers Seamless Ferritic Alloy Steel Pipes for high temperature service.
3. ASTM A333 covers seamless and welded carbon and alloy steel pipe walls intended for use at low temperatures.
4. ASTM A312 specification for seamless, straight seam and cold worked welded austenitic stainless steel pipe for high temperature and general corrosion service.
5. Steel conforming to ASTM standards.
