What is ssaw steel pipe?

SSAW steel pipe is made by extrusion of hot rolled strip at room temperature. It usually uses two-wire and double-sided submerged arc welding technology. As the steel plate has uniform deformation and slight residual stress in the forming process, the surface of radial welded pipe has no scratch. SSAW pipes are more flexible in thickness and diameter.



Why can SSAW steel pipe be widely used in the production of large diameter spiral pipe?
